STACKS
Organize personas into a team
A stack brings personas together around one mission. Give each member a distinct job so the team can divide the work and review the result.
Start with two useful roles
Choose a small task you already understand. A writer and an editor make a useful first team. So do a planner and a reviewer. You can use different AI providers for the personas, or assign the same saved provider to both.
Create the personas in the workspace where the stack will live. The Getting Started tutorial walks through a complete example.
Create the stack
- Open Stacks and choose + Create Stack.
- Enter a name that describes the work, such as Weekly Product Update.
- Review Enable stack member shared memory. Choose the memory location if you enable it.
- Choose Create stack.
The stack settings page holds its mission, rules, memory, and roster. Creating a stack does not give its members access to your other services. Select those integrations on each persona.
Add and review members
- Choose Add Persona to Stack on the stack page and select an available persona. You can also use Add to Stack on an unassigned persona’s settings page.
- Check that the persona appears in Agent Roster.
- Add its responsibilities and save them. Describe the result this member owns.
- Repeat for the next member. Check that the responsibilities complement each other.
A persona belongs to one stack at a time. To move a member, remove it from its current roster before adding it to another stack. Review its responsibilities in the new team.
Choose what the team remembers
Stack Memory lets members use a shared collection of topics. Use it for facts the whole team needs, such as project decisions. Personal Memory belongs to the individual persona.
Select PersonaStack Hosted when available, or a configured Wiki.js integration. Open the stack’s memory topics to review what has been saved. Read any confirmation before changing the memory location.
Give the team a clear next step
Write the mission and rules, then use Stack Stream to follow the work. Start with one concrete request to the member responsible for the first step.
