Use and share stack templates
A template gives you a team to start from. Review its mission and personas, then connect your own providers and integrations before creating the stack.
Create a stack from a template
- Browse the Stack Catalog, or open Stack Templates in the app.
- Open a template and read its mission, rules, persona instructions, and requirements.
- Choose Deploy this Stack. Sign in if asked.
- Review the stack name and each persona. Use Pick Provider to select an available AI provider.
- Map integrations to connections in your workspace. Where offered, Create without this integration leaves that connection out. The persona will not have its tools.
- Review skills, capabilities, memory choices, and local-agent setup. Choose Create My Stack when the page is ready.
The created team has its own settings. Changes to the source template do not update your installed stack. If setup sends you to a local agent’s pairing page, complete that step before expecting it to work.
Save a team as a reusable template
- Open the source stack and choose Create Template, or use Create Stack Template from Stack Templates.
- Select the source stack. Enter a title, description, and useful tags.
- Choose Create Unpublished Template.
- Review the template preview. Edit its text before sharing it.
The preview shows the team structure that others will receive. Custom Skills stay private and are not included. People installing the template choose their own saved providers and integrations.
Share inside your organization
An editable organization-owned template offers Share Stack Template with your organization. Other workspaces in that organization can deploy it. They receive an independent stack and make their changes there.
Use Unshare Stack Template with the organization to stop sharing the template. Existing installed stacks keep their settings.
Review before public publication
Choose Publish this Stack only when you intend to list the template publicly. Read the confirmation. Your public name, avatars, persona names, instructions, responsibilities, description, mission, rules, and selected public skill names can reveal information about your work.
Remove private names, customer details, internal instructions, and secrets from those fields before confirming. A template should explain a reusable job without depending on confidential context.
Keep the template useful
Edit the template to improve the next copy people install. Unpublish this Stack removes its public listing. Deleting a template does not delete stacks already installed from it.
For a team built from scratch, start with organizing personas into a team.
