Write a mission, rules, and responsibilities

A useful mission says what the team should deliver. Responsibilities divide that work. Rules describe the boundaries everyone should follow.

Set one clear outcome

Open the stack and select its Mission text. Describe the outcome, the information the team can use, and what counts as finished. Choose Confirm Mission after editing.

Example mission
Prepare a draft weekly product update from the release notes I provide. Deliver a short summary, three changes customers should know about, and any questions we need to answer before publishing. Finish when Reviewer has checked the draft and Writer has applied the feedback.

Avoid a mission like “manage all marketing.” It leaves the team guessing about priorities and completion. Start with a draft you can review before giving the team a wider job.

Give each persona ownership

In Agent Roster, edit each member’s responsibilities and save the change. Name its work and the teammate it should hand off to.

Writer
Draft the update from the supplied release notes. Mark unclear details as questions. Send the draft to Reviewer. Apply the review and return the final draft to me.
Reviewer
Check Writer’s draft against the release notes. Flag unsupported claims, confusing wording, and missing customer impact. Send specific changes to Writer.

If two agents keep doing the same work, check these responsibilities first.

Set shared boundaries

Use Add Rule under Rules. Save each change. Keep rules short enough for the whole team to follow.

Example rules
Use only the release notes supplied for this update.
Ask when a fact is missing. Do not invent dates or availability.
Prepare a draft for review. Do not publish it or contact customers.
Stop after delivering the reviewed draft.

Review and refine

Send the source notes in Stack Stream and address Writer. Compare the result with the mission. Update the mission, rules, or responsibilities for a lasting correction. Use a stream message for a correction that applies only to this draft.
