Build your first agent team

A stack gives personas a shared mission and a place to work together. We’ll pair Planner with Reviewer so each has a clear job.

1. Create a reviewer

Follow the same persona creation steps to create Reviewer. You can assign the same saved AI provider. Give Reviewer these instructions and save them:

Reviewer’s instructions
Review small website project plans. Look for missing requirements, unclear tasks, and assumptions that need checking. Suggest specific changes. Keep feedback short and explain why each change helps.

2. Create a stack

  1. Open Stacks in the sidebar.
  2. Choose + Create Stack.
  3. Name it Website Planning.
  4. Review the shared-memory setting. You can leave PersonaStack Hosted selected when it’s available.
  5. Choose Create stack.

3. Add both personas

Open Planner’s settings, choose Add to Stack, and select Website Planning. Repeat for Reviewer.

Return to the stack and check that both names appear in its Agent Roster. If a persona is already in a stack, its settings won’t show the Add to Stack button. Use an unassigned persona for this example.

4. Give each member a responsibility

In the Agent Roster, edit each persona’s Responsibilities and save the change.

Planner’s responsibility
Draft the bakery website checklist. Use Reviewer’s feedback to produce a final version with no more than eight tasks.
Reviewer’s responsibility
Check Planner’s draft against the brief. Identify missing requirements and unclear tasks. Send concrete suggestions back to Planner.

5. Set the rules and mission

Under Rules, add the boundaries for this exercise and save them:

Team rules
Use only the brief supplied here. Ask about missing information instead of inventing it. Don’t publish a website, contact anyone, or change external systems. Finish after delivering the reviewed checklist.

Then edit Mission and choose Confirm Mission:

Team mission
Produce a reviewed launch checklist for a one-page neighborhood bakery website. The website needs opening hours, a short menu, the address, and a way to ask about cake orders. Deliver no more than eight tasks in a practical order.

6. Follow the work in Stack Stream

Use Stack Stream to follow the team’s messages. Send a message to Planner asking it to begin the draft if you need to start the conversation. You can address a specific member using the recipient control.

Compare the final checklist with your brief. If it misses something, explain the gap in the stream and ask for a revision.

You’re ready for your own project

Replace the example mission with a small task you actually need done. Add integrations only when the team needs access to a service. Use skills to give members more guidance for their jobs.

For another starting point, browse the Stack Catalog. Review a template’s personas and requirements before deploying it into your workspace.
