PERSONAS · RUN HISTORY

Review a persona’s runs

Run Logs helps you inspect completed and failed agent work. Open an archived run to see its status, timing, provider, and captured execution steps.

Before you start

The persona needs to have completed or failed an execution before it has a run-history entry. If you have just created it, give it a small task first.

Read recent activity in Live Console

The console on Persona Settings and its pop-out show a rolling window of recent activity. Entries expire 24 hours after their latest source update. The console keeps at most 100 entries or 512 KiB of entry data, whichever limit is reached first. Older entries leave the window even while the console is idle or disconnected.

Expanding Details or copying an entry includes only its retained content. Open Run Logs for available archived history. Run archives keep their existing seven-day retention.

1. Open Run Logs

  1. Open the persona from Agent Personas.
  2. Choose Run Logs near the top of its settings page.
  3. Find the run by its start time and status.
  4. Choose Open when the archive is ready.

Each row can show the start time, duration, and turn count. A finished run can appear before its archive is ready. Read the archive status in the row if it cannot be opened yet.

2. Read the run details

The detail window shows the run’s status, runtime, provider, start and finish times, and run ID. Read any status-reason message before inspecting the individual steps.

Under Structured Steps, expand a step to see the archived text captured for that event. Follow the sequence to find what the persona attempted and where it encountered a problem.

3. Fix the named problem

After correcting the problem, send a small follow-up task. Review its result before asking the persona to repeat a larger job.

Let the persona use its history

Prior Run Access in Persona Settings lets the persona inspect previous runs when planning future work. That capability is separate from your Run Logs viewer.

When you need help

Keep the run ID, start time, provider name, and exact error message. These help identify a particular failure. Remove credentials and private task content from anything you share.

Continue with provider connection repair or usage and token quotas, depending on the run’s error.
